Nino Tvaltvadze – ATSU Alumni

 

Nino Tvaltvadze: I graduated from Akaki Tsereteli State University in 2007, the faculty of Jurisprudence with the specialty of Justice. Since 2017 I have been a Doctoral student of Georgian-American university. Since 2006 I had been working in Young Lawyers Association in Georgia and had been a coordinator of several projects. In 2009-2011 I worked on the position of the head of the Association of Kutaisi branch. I have worked in private sector in different period of time. In 2012-2014 I was a lawyer at Kutaisi David Agmashenebeli Airport and then I had a position of administrative manager. Since 2009 I have been doing a pedagogic work in the field of Jurisprudence, in 2007-2012 I was a lecturer at LTD “Tbilisi Economics and Law Academy” and in 2009-2016 a lecturer at Akaki Tsereteli State University. I have passed many qualifying courses or taken part in trainings and seminars in Georgia and abroad.

In 2013, within the judicial internship program of USA State Department, I passed an internship in Chicago Human Rights Commission, at the same time I was given a certificate of “Professional Internship” of judicial process and managing. In 2014 I started working on the position of an executive director of the local democracy agency in Georgia. Since 2016 I worked as a coordinator of the European Association of Local Democracy (ALDA) of Eastern partnership countries. I also was a coordinator of several projects financed by European Union. Since 2015 I have been cooperating with the Council of Europe regional and local governments as an invited expert.

Since 2017 I have been a vice Mayor of Kutaisi. “Kutaisi will have great importance in the history of development and we will always support it”.
